The Assistant Lodge Manager supports the Lodge Manager in running the daily guest experience: front-of-house service, housekeeping standards, activity coordination, and guest communication. This is a hands-on hospitality role for someone who leads from the floor: stepping in wherever the day demands, holding service standards when the Lodge Manager is off rotation.
The Catering Manager leads our kitchen team and the daily culinary operation across the property; refined lodge dining at Lakeside and Mountainview, conference banqueting at the Campus, and five-star special events. Reporting to senior leadership and working in close partnership with the Lodge Manager, this role owns food quality, kitchen standards, HACCP discipline, and banquet execution, holding strong standards across every lodge, every meal, every week.
Our food and beverage servers are the face of every meal at Hippo Lakes: welcoming guests, presenting dishes with their origin stories, and delivering warm, attentive service from bush breakfasts to five-star banquets. You’ll work across our lodges and event venues, learning menus, allergens, and wine service, and bringing the graciousness and polish that turns a good meal into a memorable one.
